On Saturday, October 8th, the Falls City Mustang Club held it’s annual charity car show at Horseshoe casino. The weather was perfect and we had 116 cars. This year’s charity was the Wounded Warriors Family Support. The money raised will go to helping families of soldiers wounded in battle. As usual everyone was very generous with their time as well as their money. I would like to thank Horseshoe for their continued support and hospitality; they truly make it easy for us to put on a show. I would also like to thank all of the club members who came out and worked. It really doesn’t seem like work when it is for such a good cause. Thanks again…….Mike Rains

On Thursday morning we drove to the show site and our "new hotel" in Long Island.Their show site was beautiful and had a lot of shade. There were two (2) castles on the grounds. Their show personnel were friendly and very helpful. They had about 260 judged cars and all were judged on Saturday except three and these were judged on Sunday morning. Awards were given out at 1:00 pm. Patsy and I received another tag for our second Conservator Plaque and another trophy. New Yorkers, for the most part, were VERY rude and their roads are terrible. Our cow pastures are smoother than their roads. No kidding!David
