Friday was sunny and nice - Saturday it was rainy - but he show went on...

The Show is over for another year - and what a show it was.

The Pony Drive on Saturday had 41 cars touring Southern Indiana and taking some laps on the Famous Salem Speedway. The adrenaline was pumping - you could see it in their faces when they came off the track. Sean Redmon, Pony Drive Trail Boss did a wonderful job coordinating the event and arranging with the various Police departments in the 7 counties we traveled through.

Ryders Magazine accompanied us all day Friday & Saturday and the story should be in their next issue. This is a free magazine and can be found in a variety of auto and grocery stores in the area.

Thanks to Richard Deaton, track Manager for all of his hospitality, and OH YES, we are headed back in 2006.

Friday evening everyone gathered at the Ramada Limited for some southern hospitality. Bev Thornsberry and  KFC, teamed up and provided a nice meal for the pre-registered guest and club members.

Saturday started with rain, then we had more rain, and then during the awards ceremony, the clouds parted and there was the sun  - a beautiful ending to a great event. 75 cars were on the show site, down from last years 188, but a VERY RESPECTABLE showing for such a rainy day.

Everyone received a 10th Anniversary glass mug as a small thank you for their participation and a very nice trophy.
