Churchill Downs

Louisville Kentucky

Horses to horses - sounds good, and so was the outing to Churchill Downs. About 20 or so endured the windy cool conditions and were treated to a great day at the track. Some even came home with more than they took. After the track, it was off to eat at the Cracker Barrel or the Cardinal Cafe. Thanks to Linda for arranging everything.

Corydon In outing

Corydon / Lanesville

FCMC members enjoyed an outing hosted by Ed and Bev Lynch.  There were thirteen (13) FCMC members and six (6) cars that went on this outing.

The first thing we did was eat at Magdalena's restaurant (surprising?).  We then toured some of the shops in Corydon, went to Zimmerman's to see hand glass making then went to the Red Barn Antiques, where some of us bought some antiques.

We were then invited to Mike and Linda Crosby's home to have more fellowship and soup.  Linda provided homemade potato soup, homemade chicken soup, cornbread,  pumpkin pie and drinks.  I might add that the soup was delicious and everyone enjoyed themselves.  The weather was beautiful.
